Oh, Roxannee ♥.
on the face of it,

i'm kooky.

like a coffin nail ;

i'm bent, crooked, twisted and looped. arched and kinky, wayward and warped.
set in concrete, you can't change me.

HONG KONG
Ready to take off at Changi (:

Hotel 36 lobby

The Dragon at Ocean Park (which i DIDNT ride cos i had no guts)

The Mine Train (which i actually took on and it scared the hell out of me)

Lets start with the hotel in hong kong. It wasnt anne black that we stayed in, it was hotel 36.
The entrance looked like an extract from a cantonese horror movie. I wont lie. It horrified me at first. Even the security guard had this scary half drunk look on his face. But then we rode up all the way to the third level, where the real lobby is. Air conditioned, bright lights, reception desks, vending machines, sofas, cute workers sitting behind the desks. It wasnt bad.
812 - that was my room number. I got a corner room which was cosy as hell. It was really fun and im starting to miss my hotel room. That smell that greets me everytime i open the door, that overpowering temperature of the air con which leaves me shivering till morning. Oh hell. I miss it.

So i went to Ocean Park and took the rollercoaster ride. Hell yeah i did. I got on the Mine Train which was crazy. They said its more nerve wrecking than The Dragon (which btw, i didnt have the guts to take). I got on the cable car twice which was pretty scary cos we were actually riding above mountains. Of course, the air pressure was tremendous and once, i felt like my eardrums were about to literally burst into shards. But i survived, and managed to crawl my way back into my hotel room.

The real fun started on the third day at night in the hotel room. Somehow, it seemed that no one was in the mood to sleep in early so we all crashed at one another's room. Instead of the usual 2 in one room, we had like 7 or 8 in one room. Of course, when there are so many people, you cant help it when your figgy's itch for room service prank call. Which we all did. In attempted cantonese plus broken english. And it turned out that alot of people really thought it was room service! Good job as prankers guys! (:

Macau - hell, i swear i hate the ferry ride. So nauseating. Like a roller coaster of some sorts. I was desperately trying to fall asleep.

QESOSA is a school with an extremely long name. Its like three times bigger than my school, and they had really cute people there. Sort of innocent little folks who would very much prefer to stay in and play computer games than to go out and have fun in the mall like the way Singapore teenagers do. We're pretty different in contrast. I made a new friend (i love how cheeky it sounds!). She's called Melanie and she's 16 and she's really sweet. (: This other girl, Stephanie, also 16, and her had the same exact watch as me.
And they were so excited about it. They started giggling and writhing about and i was like, "oh, okay..", and i leaned over to give them a high five each. Which left them pretty ecstatic. haha, they're adorable. i miss Melanie already. Shes the one thats most communicative cos she knows her english well. (:

oh and so i found a curly hair in my gravy of stingray.
how is that cool, you tell me? apparently, i wasnt the only one freaked out. The 7 muslims got so irked we pushed away our food and didnt touch it at all. i mean, eeew? i told Bobo and she was like, "this is how it is in HK."
i was like, "you're saying its no big deal?"
and apparently, she didnt understand what i was actually trying to tell her.
Gross huh.

So during my stay in HK, i've grown to love the song Four Minutes by Madonna and J.T.
Cos everytime i switch the channel to MTV in my hotel room, that song would come out. I mean, thats if they were playing english songs. Oh, im happy to be back.
I miss RUZY, FASHA, HIDAYAH, SAB, ESYADD.
Oh, i miss you all! (:
